  1. I have also found a method that works by going to the core of your database, then select phpvms_aircraft, then you can import/export that file in a .CSV format! This is by far the quickest and easiest way to add aircraft, whether its a new VA or an existing one!
  2. Some very specific replies there! Many many thanks indeed!
  3. Hi All!, I was wondering whether anyone had any tips on how to improve VA finances, we use the Live Fuel Price and try to use the real world ticket price in $ as i believe this is the currency the system runs on. Any input is appreciated
  4. News: Major development on this site has now stopped, any future developments made will be carried over to the new site which we are hoping to open in Q4 of 2013. Due to the lack of physical development, we have decided to develop the internals of the site i.e aircraft data including the correct pax loads for that aircraft, the correct range, the correct operating speed etc, as well as a general tidy out of the databases. The first aircraft optimisation stage has now happened: Aircraft Weights - CORRECTED (lbs) Aircraft Ranges - CORRECTED (nm) Cruise Speeds - CORRECTED (Mach) PAX Numbers - 80% COMPLETED Ranks - CORRECTED Some of the editions will be un-noticed, but for example the above changes are noticeable within the ACARS itself. Once we are happy with the PAX numbers we will then move onto making sense of the finances. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ She's Back... The Boeing 747-200, once the backbone of Virgin Atlantic's operations has returned to Virgin Virtual Group! Virgin Atlantic commenced services on 22nd June 1984 with former Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing 747-200 G-VIRG “Maiden Voyager†operating the inaugural London Gatwick - Newark service. A well travelled former Alitalia Boeing 747-200 joined the fleet in 1986 and this was registered G-VGIN and named “Scarlet Ladyâ€. The addition of this aircraft allowed a new London Gatwick - Miami service to be inaugurated. Further second hand 747-200s were added to the fleet during the late 1980s and early 1990s with G-VRGN “Maiden of Honour†and G-TKYO “Maiden Japan†joining in 1989 when London Gatwick - Tokyo Narita and London Gatwick - New York JFK services commenced. In 1990 Boeing 747-100 G-VMIA “Spirit of Sir Freddie†and Boeing 747-200 G-VOYG “Shady Lady†joined the fleet allowing a London Gatwick - Los Angeles service to commence. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Reminders: We would like to remind all users to ensure that you have read our updated Operations and Procedures Policies page, this is to prevent any upset when a PIREP gets rejected. 5. Hi all, Firstly i would like to apologise if this is in the wrong section! I have a query, my VA has over 300 aircraft and i'm going through a phase of updating certain information within the fleet etc, doing this through the php admin center is painstakingly long, so i was wondering whether it would be possible to add aircraft in a similar way of adding schedule i.e in a .CSV format?

  10. Hi All, I have posted about this a long time ago so i know there is a way to solve it, however i have no longer got access to the email that the solution was sent too. My dilemma was and is; i have some schedules that are 3 legs in total, however share the same callsign, e.g VX260 - SFO - LAS - JFK. Under the current php system, i have to put an alpha letter after the callsign for the second leg i.e VX260A (this is the case when uploading in .csv format and manually adding schedules through the main panel), which granted isn't the biggest problem in the world, however, it's just not realistic for VX ops. As i have stated, i know there is a solution available in the form of some code, as i used it for a significant period of time and it worked wonders! So the question remains does anyone have this code to solve the problem? Cheers, Jake
