  1. Gents, Check for log.php in your root, looks like malicious code too, Olly
  2. Kyle, Had this a while mate, it is a useful app, although I found the Ipad for coding a nightmare... I prefer the feedback from the keys while typing.. couldnt imagine sitting for hours trying to do anything major on my Ipad, but for emergency updates on the fly it is good. Ive tried a few for Web Development, but this si the only one thats still installed.
  3. Exactly. But there are loads of others. VLNK in particular is particularily interesting!, wasnt aware of MHTG but its now on my list, thanks!
  4. Hey Guys, I've begun working on a new VA.... wel its one that I had the concept for a long time ago and never got round to doing.. but given that my background is largely in Military "Stuff" I thought id post here for volunteers or people who may be interested in getting involved. In particular I'm looking for people with repaint experience and experience of setting up effective flight schedules. The concept.. I dont want to reveal too much, but the basic concept is a VA that exclusively flys into and out of THE most challenging airfields around the world. Smaller Hubs but some really hazardous challenging flying in a range of fixed and rotary aircraft. If this is the kind fo thing that interests you and you wanna get involved drop me a PM so I can give you a run down of the progress so far. Cheers,
  5. Editied: Resolved!
  6. For Info, I also have the API Connection Error. Upon ping i get 0% packet loss. seems to hit hitting the server no probs from my web server. Cheers Guys,
  7. I have started working on a training center, at present it has Categorys, with Courses that Have Modules. But its a slow project, got ALOT on other projects just now. Once I have something worth seeing ill post a link to a example site.
  8. Hi, Site looks great, just tried to register got a 500 Error on this URL
  9. Sorry must have misunderstood ukmil's suggestion?
  10. Couldnt Stats be Faked though? what about having a Judging Panel? maybe some of the Admins from phpVMS? then have Categorys for say Design, Activity, etc. Nominations put in and Top three Chosen by the Judging Panel?
  11. Hi Guys, I was hoping somone could offer some advice on a problem im having. I'm trying to use a HTML Select Field to filter DB Results, so the user chooses a category from the drop down list, and a table at the bottom of the page is then used to display the results of a database query. I have a basic AJAX call running using javascript, but it isnt rendering correctly and Javascript/AJAX is very new to me. I noticed in the API doc theres an included AJAX class, could I use this to achieve what im trying to do? If so can anyone offer any example code on how to utilise the AJAX methods within the class, Thanks in advance for any help, Olly
  12. Thanks Jeffrey, You Got Mail!

    Touch and Go

Hi Guys, Quick question from my members, We have noticed that while using kACARS, if we are doing Touch and Go practice, as soon as the aircraft touches the Runway the ACARS logs a landing, but then seems to stop capturing data. Certain things continue, such as flight time, but alot of the logging stops. Is this something that can be altered to recognise multiple takeoffs and landings? Very Best Regards,
  14. Not come across this myself chaps, but if its of any help, Can you access your database in PHPmyadmin, and check that the relevant table is still in place is populated with your pilot data (table name is phpvms_users I think from memory?). Secondly if you enable error reporting in your local.config.php your pilot list may give you an error explaining why the list isn't begin shown, possible coding oversight, or DB issue. This is how i setup my development config, just uncomment the bottom two rows and add a comment to the top two, then switch back once you've finished debugging. # Debug Mode is off by default Config::Set('DEBUG_MODE', FALSE); Config::Set('ERROR_LEVEL', E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE); //Config::Set('DEBUG_MODE', TRUE); //Config::Set('ERROR_LEVEL', E_ALL); With more information on the exact nature of the problem I'm sure a fix can be found,

    Modules

You would want to set your variables in the controller, so you would place it in "modules/adicionar/adicionar.php" Another good tip if you are unsure whats being passed to your templates is run a simple vardump: var_dump($userinfo); This will give you a break down of the Objects/Variables being passed into your template. Hope this helps,
  16. Hi, I had a very similar idea, but haven't got round to getting started on it really, In fact I started a thread about this, and there was talk from others about doing some work on a training centre too. My thought was to have Courses with Lessons, Pilots could reserve a place on a course and would have to complete all required lessons to pass, at which point they would receive an award for the course. Each course would have an instructor which would be responsible for devising and inputting the lesson content. Was this the type of thing you had in mind? Cheers,
  17. Hi North Air, I'm not familiar with this software, but from a quick look at their website it looks a bit basic. In order to create a skin (which i assume is what you mean by template or homepage?) to style phpvms to look the way you want it, you need to be familiar with some HTML Code, some CSS Code, and the very basics of PHP. If the software you have will open the template files and you can edit them in a code view it should be suitable. In terms of how to actually produce a skin I reckon you have two options, depending on how confident you currently are with web design or how willing you are to give it a crack, Firstly you could take the easy route and have one built for you, there are loads of people who are willing to do custom skins for a small fee, I have personally used a chap called Tom in the past for an old project, (He Will no doubt post here at some point http://www.fstools.co.uk/ ) and can't recommend his work highly enough, however there are plenty of other people to speak to. Secondly, you could try making one yourself. Nabeel has put together a decent introductory guide on skinning PHPVMS, this coupled with the W3 Schools tutorials on the very basics of HTML, CSS and PHP and you should be able to figure it out with some trial and error, and if you get stuck this forum is usually a treasure trove of advice and help. I hope this points you in some kind of useful direction, All the best,
  18. Hi Guys, Nice tutorial, I managed to get this working without adding the links in the core_htmlhead.tpl though. I simply added the following link into my skin layout.tpl (Nabeel made it very easy in the default templates ): <?php /*Any custom Javascript should be placed below this line, after the above call */ ?> <script type="text/javascript" src="<?php echo fileurl('lib/js/jquery.dataTables.js');?>"></script> I did not link the other two files, they weren't required. PHPVMS already calls jQuery so be sure not to link to the jquery.js included in the Datatables download as it will conflict and not execute correctly. At present the changes are only on my development site, they will be appearing on the live site shortly, hope this helps anyone else looking to implement this, All the best,
  19. too right, just dont have anyone running a RAF Squadron yet, but dont worry I'm sure somone somewhere will want to start one! We did originally start with 18 Sqn RAF, but its currently hidden pending Pilots to fly on it, so never fear the RAF is setup ready to go as are some others such as the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Air Forces.
  20. Thanks, It's a moving design though, theres alot of it I dont like and will be changing it gradually as the Org moves forward. Just havent got the time to get it all done! Real life keeps getting in the way! i hate it when it does that...
  21. Ladies and Gents, I am pleased to announce to successful launch of Military Air Simulation. We are offering Military enthusiasts a unique approach on the traditional MVA. Rather than being based/themed on a single Armed Service, we offer the ability to Fly for any of them. At present we have Squadrons from the USAF, US Navy, Swiss Airforce and Russain Air Force! But thats not all.... We offer two levels of membership, firstly the more familiar traditional membership whereby you apply to join one of the currently established Squadrons.. or.. Join us as a new Squadron! So if your favourite Aircraft/Squadron/Force isnt represented simply apply to start it! All we ask is that you are over 16 years of age and that you are able to get a minimum of two other people to fly with you on the Squadron. in return you will get access to manage your Squadron the way you wish within our flight environment. We offer a relaxed environment and can support Pilots using FS2004, FSX and X-Plane, (Still Working on Flight Gear ) I hope this post is enough for you to come and have alook at our website..we are actively seeking new Pilots, so if you have any questions please feel free to either PM me here, reply here or register and ask on our forums. Thank you for your time, Very Best Regards
  22. Im Running: Intel Core i7 2600K OC'd at 4.7 Ghz 8GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600MHZ RAM 2 x WD Velociraptor 600GB 10,000RPM SATA III HDD's COnfigured RADI0 Single GTX580 Graphics Card, All on a ASUS P6T Pro Mobo, Housed in a Coolermaster Cosmos S Case. I have a 1000W PSU to run it and it only has windows 7 and FSX installed, nothing else! I get around 40 - 150 FPS unlocked but for best result find locking mine to 30FPS using the external Limiter works best.
  23. Thanks for the link guys, I dont intend to use it for schedules, I will be using it in other areas, but what i did notice on that thread, the example site shows its usage listing the schedules, but the jQuery loaded all of the schedules from the database at once, this took some time and while it was loading just listed them in one huge list. When the initial loading had finished it seemed to instantiate the jQuery function and sort them into "pages". This seems to increase browsing speed once loaded, but certainly doesn't increase load speed and looks terrible as its rendering, is there a way to make the jQuery only load the first X amount of results? I know it will be slower browsing, but id take a few seconds slower over very rough rendering. I know some jQuery/Javascript (of which I'm not an expert in any shape or form) often has a function where by you can ask it to "Pre-Load" all results being used or just load the first set, typically i have found this on jQuery rotating banners where it usually loads all the images used in the banner first before displaying it. ill have a play with this tonight and see what i can do on my development environment Cheers,
  24. Cheers, I have a mooch about, Its not the jQuery based List thing is it? I was hoping o apply whatever built in pagination is there to other aspects of my site, otherwise i'll have to write my own. All the best,
  25. Hi Guys, Anyone tell me if PHPvms has built in pagination? Cheers,
