  1. All, I am the administrator of a successful virtual airline. We are in need of a new developer to join our administration team. We currently do the development work ourselves however some tasks are challenging and as such, require someone with more skill and experience. Therefore we are looking for a skilled developer with experience in phpVMS, MySQL, Javascript, HTML and CSS to join us and work on our site including back end and front end systems. I will explain our specific job list of exactly what needs doing: Our simBrief link is not working. This button creates a FP using simBrief however it's no longer working when users click on it. It won't take you to simBrief's website. It is literally dead. Currently on our pilot dashboard, we have various boxes which pull different pieces of information such as pilot's rank, hours, etc.... one of these options pulls the pilots current location from their last filed PIREP. We want this changed so it pulls the pilot's location from the location set in the SQL database. We also need some layout changes making. We have a page where a pilot can edit their account information however the text needs moving to the left of the page as it doesn't look too good sat in the middle. I assume this would involve CSS changes etc.... A couple of the pages from our airline section such as bidding on a flight don't appear correctly on mobile devices. Instead it shrinks the page to a little box on a mobile device. (I will talk to you more regarding this) We have a logo at the top of our webpage and also on the footer. We have changed the logo on the header of the webpage correctly however the logo on the footer changes when we tell it to but it makes the logo around 5x bigger than it actually is. The developer needs to shrink this logo to make it the same size as the one on the header of the homepage. When a user searches for a flight it brings up lots of flights out of that particular airport. We want each flight to display the distance of the particular route. Prices will be discussed via private message therefore if anyone is interested please contact me via private message on this forum. We require someone who is committed to working with us and is interested in working with the future releases of our virtual airline. The candidate must be able to apply a bit of time each day to working with the above items and report any progress on our airline forum for the other administrators to see. Any questions, private message me. Kind regards, Charlie.
  2. Hi, I am a moderator of a Virtual Airline and I am looking for a bit of help. We are currently puzzled on an issue which we can't figure out. We have lots of airport's in our database from all around the world. Unfortunately, some of these airports have the wrong latitude and longitude coordinates therefore placing them on the other side of the world. For example KEWR was being placed somewhere in central Russia when it should have been placed in New York, so when we look at our live flight map on the homepage, it draws a big red line from the departure airport to somewhere in central Russia. At the moment to solve the issue, we have to keep going into the Admin Centre and manually edit the coordinates of each airport that is incorrect. Does anybody have any ideas as to why some airports have incorrect coordinates? Thanks in advance.
