I am having trouble getting emails to applicants and pilots to work. I know this is not a fault of PHPVMS, but I’m hoping someone else has encountered this problem and can help me. The email is generated but is halted at my host saying that “email relaying” is not allowed. I’m sure I’m not configuring something correct. The email I set for myself as administrator is the same email I use for my domain email. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks very much in advance.

You’ll have to check with your host about sending emails through PHP, seems like they’ve disabled it
Thank you for a quick reply. My host says that if the “from” field of email is a domain address then it will work. Where do I configure the “from” field in the php mailer?

In the general options in the admin panel, there’s a field for “webmaster email address”
I swore I had checked that but alas that was the culprit. Once I changed that to a domain hosted email name, the emails started working. Thank you so much.

No problem, on install I set it to the admin user you set
