Is it possible to assign someone a rank - say operations manager - and give them access to only the fleet/schedules in the admin panel?

yes it is you do this in the admin panel

in the admin panel go to group/ad group git the grou a name than for only schedulles you give schedules permision and acces admin.
now this group can login to the admin and only go in the schedulles
I’ve added my group and i see no such permissions or anything like that?
Infact, i cant even rename or delete a group.. they arent links or anything :S
in the admin you do a ad group there you can shoose the permisions you need

There’s your problem to take advantage of this feature right now you have to have the current beta installed.
I see.. does the latest beta come as an updater or just a full reinstall?
It’s both, really. You would install it as an update
maby a thing to make mandatory if you have a problem you give the version number you currently are using ;D
