Yeah, the layout.tpl holds all the information for the top right links, as well as all of the left side info.

I’m recieveing the following error on install

Notice: The template file “/hermes/web04/b1846/pow.virtualunitedairline/htdocs//lib/skins/ObsessBlue/header.tpl” doesn’t exist in /hermes/web04/b1846/pow.virtualunitedairline/htdocs/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 248

How do I go about fixing it? I cannot find the header.tpl file anywhere.

By getting a paid host. Free websites aren’t very compatible with phpVMS. Sorry dude, but that’s just the way it is.

There is no header.tpl in ObsessBlue.

How do we go about getting around it so it works?

Maybe try to upload all the files again, maybe there are some corrupt ones that need to be replaced.

Just changing the top banner of the skin, the banner is the blue one and says something like “ObaeaaBlue by fspaintshop” When i change that, and chang it on the index file uploadit it comes up with blank box and the red “x” in the image is in the floder. i just carnt add any images on, im new to this stuff

Chris, go into the layout.tpl and check the link that controls that image. Here is mine:

This is the part you want to check to make sure it is pulling the image you have uploaded to use for your logo.

Of coarse, the logo’s location may be different than mine. You might also want to go where your logo is located, and make sure you have typed the image name correctly. Some main overlooks may be the image type. Maybe you created it as a .gif .jpg .png or whatever.

Hello, and great skin!

I was wondering if I could remove the links menu on the left, the one with Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, etc. Also, I tried to remove the black and blue boxes, but it didn’t work. Could someone clarify that? Finally, how do you change what is in the ticker?

The text inside the ticker is also located in the layout.tpl as well (if I’m not mistaken)
