Hi,

Anyone tell me how I can stop the Newfront from showing underneath every page you visit in the ObsessBlue skin? The echo page content is there as well as the show newsfront, but if I remove the shownews front, the news doesnt show at all when going to the home page.

Can you post a screen shot as im a little confused what your after.

I believe he wants to show the news front while on the home page but not on any other page. There is some code somewhere on here that I have referred to quite often. A quick search will reveal the answer. I can not think of where the thread is now. If all else fails, use me as a wild card in your search and view my posts until you find it. It has been some ago since I posted about it though.

Hi All,

I managed to fix it, it was the frontpage_main.tpl that was in the skin directory, it was empty and newsfront was coded directly into the layout.tpl which meant it showed on every page

Glad you got it sorted out. I forgot that skin got updated to the new template way of doing things. My site still runs on the old OB template.

That is changed in the new 2.0 version.
