Is it the top left hand corner by the top banner your having trouble with, oh and the small rectangle on the right under the top banner.

I may of figured it out. The mainbg file I think it is, you havn’t removed it. It may be called something different but my whole site is down so I can’t find if for you, even the support for my host is down. Its mainbg.jpg I think. Time to contact somebody from the hosting company.

I have nearly fixed it, just the footer, it is repeating, and am unable to fix it. I try background-repeat:no-repeat; but that just makes the footer_bg disappear. Anyone able to shed some light on it?

Hi

The only problem I can see with your footer tag is that you have speced a line height of 30px, no issue with that except your image does not go 30px high. from what I can see in the CSS is that there is not backgroun-repeat: norepeat; set at all.

I would suggest either to do that, or make the image 30px high.

I have a css inspector in Fireworks, so I am anylising based on whsat that shows me.

The image is 30px high, that is how i made it. I tried the no repeat but it wont work, as when i do it disappears totally.

would you mind sending over just the footer.tpl so I can take a proper look at it for you?

I have skinned phpvms before and have never had this problem. It is nothing to do with the tpl files, it is to do with the CSS. I proved it by editing the footer.tpl and nothing happened. The schedules page is fine, the others show how it is supposed to but with a gap.

OK, maybe there is a style being inherited from somewhere?

Using firebug will help since you can mess with the styles. Haven’t had time to look just yet

The whole page appears to be aligned left whilst viewing in FF…IMO it looks better centered.

That is a style sheet issue.

Nothing i do is fixing anything and actually getting worse. I need help, I am doing it the exact same way i skinned before, so this is puzzling me why it wont work.

You need a clear:both; in #footer, try that
