Hello

I have some errors with XACARS.

At first, when I start XACARS, it shows me a message which says that it is not possible to have the live acars on the website.

There was an error connecting to the LiveACARS server:
[Connection to ACARS erver failed: [Check URL.]]
ACARS tracking continues without sending LiveACARS messages.

When I tryed to send the pirep, it is impossible to send it. It shows me a message which say that the wabside did not reply with an error 403.

Here is a summary of the message :

Sendinf PIREP returned an ERROR condition:
[Connection to PIREP server failed: [Check URL]]

You may retry sending the PIERP.

How can I solve them ?

Hi

Just for your info it’s working on my 809 installation.  I assume you’ve placed the .ini file into the xacars folder like you do with FSAcars and also it’s definitely a .ini file not a .ini.txt.  I had a similar problem with FSAcars in 700 which is why I changed.  Perhaps you might want to update to 812 and see if you still get the problem.

I did a new test with log 712 and I still have the errors.

Where are you putting the config files?

I put the config file into C:ProgrammesXAcars for MSFS

In the options for xacars, is it picking up the URL and everything?

Yes, of course. The URLs are exactly the same in XACARS and in the config file.

Hmm, so then could it be a firewall issue or something? Can you show a few screenshots?

Well you have no fields are anything filled out there, is that just from the screenshot or have you actually not entered anything?

I always enter the information in the fields. You can see blank fields in the first screenshot because it is the message I have just after double-clicking on XACARS.exe… I can put the information after clicking on OK in the error windows.

That’s odd that it does it on startup. can you uninstall it, and delete it completely, and then re-install and start from scratch?

I’ve done it, but I still have the same errors…
