XACARS Not Submitting

I’ve had a few XPlane/Mac users report that their PIREPS are not getting submitted. They don’t receive any errors from XACARS in the log or user interface. XACARS says the PIREP was submitted successfully but it doesn’t show up on their profile and they still appear under the “Current Flights” on the homepage. There are no errors in server logs, either.

Any idea what I should look for or how to fix this?

I need to set Xacars also up because I have someone who does his flying on a Mac to.

So I will follow this topic with interest

Cor

There’s gotta be some error logs somewhere, they wouldn’t just fall through. You’ll have to get in touch with the xacars developer

I haven’t, but I’ve looked through both XACARS logs and phpVMS logs and I don’t see any errors in either. Are there any general directions for setting up xacars on phpVMS so as to “start fresh”?

I was able to get the issue solved within my VA. Are you still needing help?

Please share here in the forums what you did to get yours working correctly so others may benefit in the future.

The pilot who I was working with had an ampersand (‘&’) in his password and php was not properly handling it (losing everything after the ampersand). I had the pilot change his password and all appears to be fine now.
