I would guess you are using the newer version of the module that uses the new style template extensions - .php - instead of the older style - .tpl -

Try using the 1.0 version here -> https://github.com/D...anager/releases - or you can change the extension of all the template files from .php to .tpl

I cannot speak for other developers. I have started to migrate all my phpvms work to the newer versions. Any module I have converted to the newer template extensions there should be a release version that has the tpl versions as well.

If you are using the Plugin manager and using the preloaded module list, it automatically detects what version system you are using and only lists compatable modules that are available for the plugin manager.
