Does localhost (on your pc) affect phpvms?

Ok, I have localhost in my PC and i’m wondering if does it affect phpvms than on a WebServer publicly? What are the affects?

Alot of the ajax/javascript won’t work on localhost. It’s a security thing by the browsers

Good Point Brain, Thanks For The Heads Up but i want to build my Add-On on my local host so i don’t want to go over my server website files.

Thanks Nabeel but my browser is FireFox now and it works properly on phpvms.
