Hey there,

What OS is your server, do you know what the mail program it uses is?

Thanks

Looks like a Linux server running Apache..

Can’t tell what mail server it is.. I’ll keep looking through the settings and see if I can find out..

EDIT ..  Ok looking through the php file, sendmail is off, and it looks as though he’s using SMTP.. that’s all I can tell

Also got this on a pirep submission ..

I guess it’s not happening with any other mails sent from the server?

Would you mind trying the latest beta copy? (downloads.phpvms.net)

LOL ok I just downloaded it yesterday so I thought I had the latest, but I’ll re-download and see what happens.. I only tried those two items (registration and pirep), after getting the same thing I thought I would stop I’ll let you know how I make out in a few minutes..

Same result

Same result with the beta version (downloads.phpvms.net/phpvms.beta.zip)? I use a different mailer method with that, so hmm, then that points to the mail client. What if you use a webmail email address? Does it show the same thing?

The beta worked like a charm   I just did a fresh install with a new dbase and the email is now readable (Just the ‘from’ line is missing).. Thanks for your quick help !!

Good to hear! The from line - in your settings, set an admin email, and that’ll take care of that.

Thanks!

Great job Nabeel I’m loving this more and more
