[Fixed (Needs a second look)] Rejecting PIREPs on build 700

Hi all

Does anyone else have this issue - when in the admin panel, double-click “Reject” for a pirep, and when it comes up with enter a reason my admin panel disappears and all that’s left is the enter a reason box on a white screen.  If I enter a reason and click reject report, I just get “no more reports” on a white screen, no admin panel or anything.

Cheers

Will

Which browser?

IE8

There’s a few issues with IE8.

If you’re brave enough, you can check the beta and see if they are fixed

Already installed - will check in a bit.

Ok I can replicate the issue in the latest beta.  To replicate:

File 2 pireps.

Take note that you can reject either successfully at this point, but don’t reject for now.

Accept or delete one.

Reject the other - problem happens.

Hope that helps.  For more info, ont he beta site im running, it’s a completely new database and default skin.

Gotcha, thanks.

Seems to be the JS event listener isn’t picking up a repeat call. I’ll try this on FF too.

Ok thanks

This problem is a bit more extensive, the problem is in a jQuery plugin. Seems like it’s not ready for IE8. I have to investigate this further

The quick fix is dropping IE6 support. I think that’s OK to do, so fixed, unless I find a better alternative for the modal boxes (have to look around see if I have time to do that).

Sounds good Nabeel - no-one should be using IE6 anymore anyway as it’s full of security holes.
