In my admin panel i have the following message - A beta version 2.1.944 is available for download!
Where do I donwload it? and will it overwirte all my current templates ive editted and delete all my settings

YOu shouldn’t have to, when you upload it will only overwrite files that are the same, if the folder is named differently then all files within the folder will remain the same.
Same as an update. Make sure your template changes are in your skin’s folder
