I can not get Airport lookup to work.

Good Day everyone, 

I am a new user to PhpVMS and so far things have been straight forward and easy to sort out which does the creators great credit. What I am not able to do is get the airport function to work, it just hangs on the “Fetching airport data”. Now I have looked through the forum and I have tried switching between Geonames and phpvms and neither seem to work. I have removed and installed PhPVMS twice and that has not helped either. 

I was hoping someone might have a few things I could try, as I say I am new to this and I have exhausted the knowledge I have and tried all the possible things that have come up in here and google as well.

Hi Rob, vacentral is down at the moment and it uses that for the lookups. I’m working on getting it back up and running again

Hi,

Does anyone know when vacentral will be backup and when the Airport lookup will work again. Also is there any other way of adding airports without using this feature.

Keep an eye on  for updates, there’s no definite answer at this stage. To add airports during the downtime, the easiest option is to go to https://www.world-airport-codes.com/, enter the ICAO code and copy the coordinates and add them manually.

Thanks for that reply the way I tried that before I think I had the wrong coordinates so they wouldn’t add before but they do now.
