PHPVMS v2 or v4 ?

Hello,

I would like to install phpvms on a Debian 9 server with PHP7 and I am a little lost with the versions of PHPVMS
Which version would you recommend installing? PHPVMS 2 or PHPVMS 4?
If I install PHPVMS 2, will it be possible to migrate without loss of data to version 4?

I recommend to install the simpilots version 5.5.

This is as far as i know the latest version.
