I have everything all set now. When I load ACARS, I can never see myself on the map. Other people have no problem. There are a few that cant be seen on the map. Any idea what the problem is. I am on Vista 32 bit.

Some of us can’t be seen on the ACARS map that comes with phpVMS.

Same here, and I am using XACARS. I also have a fellow pilot who has the same problem. We are about to do a VA flight so I a m going to try it on XACARS test system however I am not sure what the result will be yet.

FSACARS - 4.0.15
Also my ACARS worked on the XACARS test server too.

Did you completely remove FSACARS and re-install and try from there?

Beta! I have tried removing and reinstalling. Even had my HD reset to factory settings for other reasons. Installed it again, with the same problem.
I’ve commited a release, let’s see if that helps.
Can you turn on ACARS_DEBUG in local.config.php, and send me or post the log that’s in /module/ACARS/log.txt, hopefully there’s some hints there
Has anybody got an update on the situation of this? Not wanting to be impatient, just that my pilots are wanting it back again. Any updates? By the way I decided to get the latest beta and it still doesn’t work, in XACARS this is.

xacars isn’t completely working yet (I never said it was fully working). I’m working with the developer on some issues.

There’s a topic in the FAQ about the previous reports coming in.
Not seeing yourself on the map/ini file not showing indicates some other issues. Any other details you can give me? Hopefully I’ll get time this weekend to diagnose and work on some of these things. I haven’t had the time this past week (been sick)

Ugh indeed it’s a maps error. Google changing s*** without announcing.
But good news - the new version of the API has polylines, so I can migrate the code to that. No API Key

I committed a beta now, but only the acars map is (semi) working. The others need rewriting, I’ll be getting to them shortly
