Removing Flight Legs

Hey everyone,

I think I am going to remove flight legs. Now since you can enter letters into the flight numbers, the leg’s are kinda “obsolete”, since you can just add it as part of the flight number.

Also, FSACARS and FSPAX don’t support it, so it’s throwing things off with PIREPs and those finance calculations, and other ‘future plans’ which I have in mind. It just adds another layer of complexity, which is just giving me a big headache, and doesn’t really serve a huge purpose (I don’t think many of you are using legs)

Just giving a heads up.

What ever it takes mang!!  I know we don’t really use it.

Excellent, it’s caused quite a bit of fuss at our VA, entering the incorrect legs etc.

Good idea, I was thinking about how to do with flights numbers and legs… and how to deal with charter flights…

hummmmm… Not really easy !

Sounds good but what is going to happen to those flights we have that may have leg1, leg2 and so on?? will it just turn in to a normal flight?

It’s just going to ignore the leg # (like it kinda does now when filing the PIREP)

I’d change those flight numbers now (if they’re the same)

alright well i shouldn’t have to bug with the flight numbers they are all different! sweet!
