XL Airways Virtual is a project of mine on going from late last year. I have already invested a lot of time, money and effort into the creation of this Virtual Airline as have others. This airline will be based around XL Airways UK that sadly went into liquidation back in September 2008. Non the less, we already have hosting, a professional custom made website (to be powered by PHPVMS), 300 schedules and increasing, a custom made state of the art In Flight Entertainment System (Custom made by an existing staff member to fit the specific needs of the XL Airways Virtual pilots), a developing type rating training program on all our aircraft (of which to be carried out by a real world commercial pilot who's type rated on 4 aircraft types) with the possibility of a custom Kacars tracking system on the way. All this aside we are still missing the vital element that will bring it all together, the staff team. XL Airways Virtual are currently hiring: 4 hub managers to cover bases at EGCC, EGKK, EGPF and EGGD 1 Director of flight operations 2 Web service directors (knowledge of PHPVMS, multiple code language and past VA experience is crucial) 1 Training director for the classic fleet (Boeing 747-300 AND 737-400)(Applicant MUST be able to operate BOTH aircraft and teach the operation of it to others perfectly) 1 Director of Human Resources (Past VA experience preferred but not essential) Please send all applications to ceo@xlava.co.uk.
