Guest Jamal Pratt
2011 Re-Organization www.flyoasis.org :: info@flyoasis.org :: www.flyoasis.org/forum Bridgetown, Barbados - With the successful launch of FlyOasis in 2010. FlyOasis will be undergoing extensive re-organization. With a new round of investment Capital Glenn Financial (:VGF) is slated to become the new majority stock holder in FlyOasis. 2010 was a mediocre year for FlyOasis but 2011 can be better we now have the resources to expand and finish what we started. It's going to be a great year for all involved. In 2011 the airline will under-go crew base changes and aircraft lease changes in an effort to streamline it's operations and restore the airlines balance sheets. An airline official was quoted saying "what we have learned from 2010 is that aircraft we though would work doesn't, and that's just the nature of the business. We are conducting meetings daily to re-think our whole approach to aircraft acquisition.". Changes expected in Q1 Fleet changes Base Closures Fleet Changes -The Dash 8 (Q300) will be liquidated and (3) Jetstream 41's leased from gulf coast charters will take it's place. -The 757 was brought in during 3Q 2010 as a dry run. This aircraft will also be removed from service. We no longer found use of this aircraft with our current route structure. -The two islanders in the fleet will be phased out and it's routes will be transferred over to our work horse the Twin Otter. -With the expiration of our Amazon airways cargo agreement we no longer lease their 767 so the fleet will be reduced to just 1 bird servicing our European market Base Closures -Our contract with Amazon Airlines expired on Jan 1st 2011 and will not be renewed there-fore our cargo base at Galeao, Brazil will be shut down. -Our hubs in Trinidad and Jamaica will also be shut down. all employees and assets will be distributed amongst our remaining two hubs
