Summer time means higher demands for air transportation to the ocean playground of the Channel Islands. Long Beach and Santa Barbara airports are our Sunshine Coast mainland hubs. From there you’ll be making scheduled flights to Catalina, San Clement, San Nicolas and Santa Cruz before returning to the mainland. Fuel is available at some of the island airports but at a much higher price compared to the mainland, so you must carry enough fuel for the whole trip landing with IFR reserves.
