    We been doing this for a while, but to avoid complications  we do it vbia the forum and use a virtual logging system.basicallly when we fly an aircraft we log where it is and the next flight carries on from where we left it etc. And this  gives the operstions manager something to do in keeping an eye on the aircraft hour from the financial side  of things.However if someone knows of a better way  please help :-)

    Thanks Nabeel, I rekon they justa fishy host anyway but i am going to get in touch with your response on this and see what they say but i thinks i may be moving host :-)

    Hi all this isnt a moajr thing just filling my email inbox for now , but , When you submit your pirep be it with FSACARS or FSPAX or even manually, I get told four times about it .Any ideas how i can cut this down ?

    also having a similar issue to anoher post  i think i may have said aboutit before any ideas ?

    in the ADMIN section whern you first get there it show menus down left and this in middle

    have spoken to my site support guys and get the following results from them

    I can't find out why the script is timing out so I asked the Linux engineers at the data-center to take a look at whats happening.

    Here is the reports.

    Initial report:

    Unfortunatey this is hitting a sever hard limit of 30 seconds max execution time

    I attempted to raise this to 60 seconds for testing purposes and it still did not complete.

    You will need to have the developer optimize this script to complete more efficiently. This script is causing a very high load on the server each time it runs which could lead to it being disabled if it is accessed more than a couple times at once as well.

    Second report:

    Hello,

    I am not able to find what is causing this script to timeout. We ran an strace on the process while it was running and it hangs after the lines below. I really don't see anything in this output that states what the issue is with the script. We temporarily increased the max execution time in PHP and it still hung. I would recommend contacting your developer/software developers for further information on this. They should know what the script is trying to do and what might be causing it to hang. The load on the server is not high when we ran the script so it's not just an issue with the server taking a long time to respond.

    Thanks in advance  i know you guys  wil have a decent response not some techie push me to one side and fob off jargon. I am not the only using this PHPVMS and none seems to have an issues so its not the software suely  do you thinik i am being fobbed off by host?

    Sorry nabeel  dont mean to sound dumb but how would i find this out ?

    i see you have posted some code  from the css  ine has

    so should i change the padding to 1 instead of 0 ?

    Hi all me again  i know im boring you all with questions.Well without questions whats the point of a forum lalala

    hehe any ways  since new update  may be after thinking about i my site runs fine but the admin side of things is running real slow any ideas why ?

      also to possibly help getting this error message

  18. Routes/schedules issue

    Ok another little glitch  or is it me.

    i hve added several routes to the database now and looks good on the admin page as i have routes.

    problem is Only one route is showing on the pilots page tho,

    do the routes number have to run in order to work/display or is there an issue?

    OK  just tried it and the issue/reason  is what i can see as follows

    If yoiu have a schedule on the site your flight has to match up with the flight numbers if it doesnt it will add it.

    i tested this by renumbering one of three flights and the only one that did get added was one which had a matching schedule number. now i am trying a short flight  and using a flight number that is just set up as a egaa to egaa  and see if i can get that to register although i  will be taking off from EGAA landing at EGAC . this is to see if it works just with flight numbers or complete icao codes as well. if this doesnt work only way forward i can see is to remove all routes / so pilots can fly and use FSPAX without too many complications . The issue i have here only became apparent once i added some routes.

    OK  i just set it up as a flight and have a schedule one as egaa egaa    that seems to let you put what you want in worked for me  so gonna experiment over the next few days with it  and see what happens.

    Ok so if i am reading this correctly then i have to make sure that my flight id tally with my routes/schedules  correct?

      sorry if i seem a bit dum  but not a programmer  not to interested in workings aeither i just want to fly fly fly  lol, but i am willing to learn thats why i love thids system but FSPax  well different story.

    without changing direction of this topic i started  which would you say was better, FSPAX or fsacars for this system  to lease with as we just getting everything ready  so not to hard to change either way. Although for realism i personnaly prefer the added passenger element of fspax.

    Now back to beggingn  i am going to try and reset route numbers see if this accepts ther flights n o harm in trying .

    OK update  yes free hosting was an issue  now i have go my host provider to allow phpVMS  to run etc looking good starting to fuigure out skinning next but......

    first test  managed to get two pireps sent through.

    later that day got a message on screen saying new version and to update . so i did.

    all looks good new features etc  but alas my fspax is saying the same thing as it did on the free hosting site but nothing has changed at all with main site.

    getting these again

    -Error, unable to export flight number 1 ->Error - The web site didn't replied

    -Error, unable to export flight number 2 ->Error - The web site didn't replied

    ? really strange    i rekon it may be a freehosting site issue.

    but my main hosting wont allow the 777chmod  cos of security issues. so trying this out on a free server to test before moving host etc

    ok now have the site up and running  now getting issues with FSPAx not doing what it should as in sending reports is there someelese i need to do or should the config tool do it all for me thanks
