  1. Atlantic Air Group

Virtually, the only way to fly!

"AAG" represents a fictitious cooperative of several real world airlines that operate in North America and abroad. At "present", those airlines are "Provincial", "Air Labrador ", "Porter", "Air Canada Express", and "Air Canada". You will have the choice to fly short, medium, or long range flights using a variety of aircraft. We offer both scheduled and charter flights. The scheduled flight system follows "real world" operations, while the charter system is available for you to create/choose your own flights. In addition to Scheduled flights and Charters, we offer special Tours and Events, all in an effort to make your career with us as varied as possible. It's all about choice and variety at Atlantic Air Group.

Please pay our website a visit at www.atlanticairgroup.ca. If like what you see, please consider joining our ranks. It would be our honour to have you.

    Thank you for your interest!

    P.S.

We will also be seeking staff members from our ranks. Any pilot who joins us and has an interest in being a staff member can apply. The positions will be posted on our forum in the near future and periodically as the need arises.

  2. UPDATE 02 June 1011

We are begining to grow... we now have 4 pilots (it's a start!). We have moved from 176th place to 156th place (in a very short period) on the "vaCental" system (that's not too bad for a new VA!). We will soon have our liveries ready for download. We have posted several new "how-to" docs. We had a few snags... things that happen to any business (real or virtual) at the start. And finally, even though we have only completed 22 flights, we are already showing a profit (sorry, I can't discuss that with NON members... so, come join us and you can see for yourself! <wink>! :Big Grin:

  3. From the pilot center, there's only 1 page deep navigatoin you can go, so just the back button should work. I'm not sure where you're getting lost?

Well, I'm not getting lost because I know how it works. But if someone is new to it, they may. Here is an example...

If they click a button from the main PC (Pilot Center) screen (on my setup lets say the "Bid on a Flight" button). From there they click a link (on my setup let's say "View Flight Bids"). They then see a flight they are interested in and they click "View Details". Now, they click the "Back Button" on the Browser... they don't go back to the previous screen they were on, they go back to the Main PC screen. They then have to click "Bid on a Flight" again, to get back to that screen.

    Hope that makes sense?

  4. Firstly, I did "several" searches to find the answer to this question. Please forgive me if I missed it.

When navigating (clicking on a link) in the Pilot Center, I find that I can not get back to the last screen I was on. If I use my browser's "Back Button", I am taken back to the main Pilot Center window. I am concerned with how confusing this would be for my pilots that are new to phmVMS.

Thank you in advance for your responses!

  5. The boys in the Paint Shop (pro), are busy with the repaints. Here is a pic of our Cessna with a "first draft" paint. BTW, we bought the aircraft in our flleet from the US... ;)

  6. FYI folks...

We continue to add flights to our schedule!

The area "Eastern Canada Air" operates in, is under the ATC (Air Traffic Control) of the Moncton/Gander FIR. As of late, this FIR is maned almost every night and on the weekends too. So, if you like flying on VATSIM, this is a "great" area to do it. All of the ATCers there are knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful.

We have started some "how-to" docs to get pilots flying with the least amount of trouble. They can be found in our Forum. We remind pilots that we welcome your questions, input, and participation in our Forum

Are you "new" to flight simming and Virtual Airlines. Great! We welcome you with open arms. We'll do all we can to help you get started.

We believe flight simming should be a combination of fun, imagination, and a "bit" of structure to give it purpose. If you agree, come join us won't you!

We encourage our pilots to fly for "other" VAs. Why not? Don't limit yourself folks. There are many great VAs that offer things we don't... yet!

Once again, thank you for considering us!

  7. thanks for the info its not my native language ;)

and iff we mods or other helping people would ask 1$ donnation everytime some chap asks for help instead of searching. we would be able to feed an intire small 3 world country.

also iff you folks haven't noticed all major devolpers and helpers are losing intrest to come on this forum and help i "WOUNDER" why.

and Murray this isn't an attack on you. ;)

I understand your frustration and appreciate what you are saying. I apologize for being "a bit" sarcastic. Sorry!

On another note, the files I was looking for are in the folder Davide mentioned. The actually files that I needed begin with "mail". For those that may not know, they are the files you can change the wording of so, when you have your pilot registration set to "manual", the new pilot gets the message "you" want to send them. Rather then the "generic" message that tells them very little.

Also, the files Davide mentioned, are the ones you would change the wording of "if" you want "your" message sent when a pilot registers during an "automatic" setup (which is the default).

I hope this thread helps others!

  8. Hello again!

I want to change the "text message" that is sent to a "new" pilot when he registers. I also want to change the "text message" that is sent when I activate or decline a "new" pilot application. Where are those messages located, and what are they called?

In the first case, I'm just looking to change the wording a bit. In the second case, I want to be able to change the wording to let him know that I will be sending "another message soon", that will include his Forum "Username" and "Password".

    Thanks guys!
