  2. Better "pilot-briefing" for printout

    I have been searching the forum but cannot find anything, so im posting a new thread, if something like this exists please just point me in the direction of that thread:)

    My "problem" is that now when i push my pilot brief for my booked flight I get about four pages, one page with info in REALLY small text, and 3 pages with weather charts that are really small... Is there any "addon" that changes the layout of the pilot brief? what i want is more focus on the route.

    Any ideas?

  3. Strange routes

    Hi!

    I did a few flights using phpVMS and Xacars today... I have my flights sheduled in phpvms together with the routes. But when I flew quite a few routes today, i noticed that xacars seems to report wrong routes... XAcars seems to have the correct routes when i start. But when i check my pireps in phpvms wrong route is reported...

    Anyone that has enountered this problem??

    its realy difficould as you are not on a (live)server but running it localy

    i think xacars can handel the fact that its not going to a live url.

    run this

    This is a bit embarresing;-) i found the problem... i read that "dont forget to add the airline code" when adding a scheduled flight...

    So each route i named for example ABC124

    And tried to enter that into xAcars... the problem was that i was supposed to ADD the company letters in front when writing in xAcars;-) when i did that it worked. at least it tracked my plane during takeoff... i had to shut down fs so i couldnt test untill i landed...

    SO the last question remains... When i have landet, do i just press "stop Acars" and then the information is provided to phpVMS automatically?

    or do i have to do something else?:-)

    when i check my xacars.txt it updates after each try to connect.

    The settings that phpVMS has entered for me is:

    Acars server: http://localhost/virtual/action.php/acars/xacars/acars

    Pirep server: http://localhost/virtual/action.php/acars/xacars/pirep

    Flight info server: http://localhost/virtual/action.php/acars/xacars/data

    This seems strange... the paths points to the action.php file and then subfolders to that file?!

    this cant be right or can it?

    I am using xampp on my local network so noone outside my local network can access it so i cant paste the url, sorry...

    but phpVMS is installed in the virtual folder.

    And it works to add airplanes, pilots and so on...

    Thanks, now the settings seems a bit more accurate but when i enter the flight number that i entered when i created the schedule (the flight number is: DY2111. but when i enter DY2111 in xAcars and press get Acars flight data it says that it cant find the flight.

    What am i doing wrong?:)

    Can anyone help me setting up xAcars? i have installed xAcars but i am wondering what settings i need to do in xAcars to connect it to phpVMS...

  13. Local server - (XAMPP) over Network

    Hi! I wonder if its possible to run phpvms over a local network using xampp(i understand you cant give me support on this program but ill try)

    My wishes is to have the server running on a computer connected to my network, but separated from me flight sim computer. This computer wont have anything on it so the security doesnt need to be of concern:-p

    Now i can access the login page of phpvms when i enter the local ip of the computer that has the server running... but when i log in it seems to try to redirect me to "localhost/blablalba" which causes errors i suppose?...

    is there a way to fix this or do i have to have this on my fscomputer?
