  1. To the point, if I could have understood how to do what I needed by "read through the docs", I wouldn't have bothered making the post you reference. I'm a pilot, not a web person. I don't have any desire to be a web person. I have more than enough to do to minimally configure my website and operate my organization. I wasn't looking for "how do I do things". I was looking for someone to do what I want done, and am perfectly willing to pay for it. Setting up and running an "additional" test site is absolutely the last thing I'm contemplating doing. While I'm sure those documents make great sense to you guys, who do this for a living, and most probably wrote the documents, they aren't in the least helpful to me. Maybe I'm just too stupid to run PHPVMS/ACARS? Didn't see where there's a minimum level of expertise required to be a customer/user, but maybe I missed that too.? If there's no viable response to my request, why post the availability of the topic? Al Rosenberg San Antonio Texas
  2. I am looking to obtain assistance with applying maintenance to my PHPVMS website, as well as some customization (install and setup ACARS, etc.). Am not a website "guy", but rather a pilot/operations person. Have now problem in paying somebody a reasonable fee for their services. Please reply to this post, or directly to me at: arosenberg3@satx.rr.com Thanks Al Rosenberg San Antonio Texas
  3. Not certain if I need to start a whole new thread, or can continue here, since I'm still working on getting the website up at relatively current maintenance level for PHPVMS and Themed/Skinned/Configured to start doing business? Anyway, TFDI is hosting my website, and they graciously installed PHPVMS at v7 BETA 5. I've since been told that's way out of date, so I've rooted around and found/downloaded Version 7.0.46 (latest thing I could find). On the subject of updating the website to the current maintenance level, I'm wondering how complex that process may be? When I look for Updating the website, I find things like adding airports, flights, etc.. Can I just move the unzipped directory's contents (14 "major" folders to the website using FileZilla, overlaying what's there? The enclosed README file, seems confusing to me, and I don't particularly want to screw this up, and have to go crawling back to TFDI again. The enclosed Readme talks about uploading the stuff, and then visiting the site and following a "link to the installer"? since the Readme is a .MD file, I can't attach it directly to this post. Sorry to be such a total newbie, but I've been around flight sim software for a really long time (since way before NOBLE Air), and it seems like every forum/help thread is an entirely new learning experience. Thanks again for your patience. Regards Al Rosenberg
  4. I am seeking someone to help with the basic installation & customization of my website. I am familiar with how PHPVMS "works" to support an airline group, but am not proficient in the mechanics of how to perform the basic customization and setup of the website. I am going to run PHPVMS 7, and TfDI have installed the website. What I need to have accomplished is: 1. Install Disposable Theme to the website. 2. Customize the basic theme/background to utilize an image I have attached. 3. Install SmartCARS flight logging software. 4. Document what you've done, so i can hopefully do similar tasks in the future (Upload/Install things such as airports, fleets, etc.). If you would be willing to help, or can point me towards someone who can, please respond to this message. Thanks for your time and consideration Al Rosenberg www.virtualnavalairforces.org
  5. I presently have a website that was created using an older version of phpVMS/IPS. I would like to have it updated/re-written in the current level of the product. Could you please contact me if you can help, or know of someone who can? Regards Al Rosenberg San Antonio, Texas @LesJar
  6. I have a website that was built for me by Jasper Bussemaker, who I gather is no longer in business? My website is hosted by GoDaddy.com in the USA, and has recently started giving me some error messages (I suspect because MY software is very old, and no longer compatible with the platform on which it's being run)? Is there someone around who could/would take a look at my software for me, and give me a price on bringing it kicking and screaming into the present day? Thanks for any and all replies. I am not a computer web programmer, but I feel confident the skillset resides somewhere in this community. Thanks Al Rosenberg www.cvw-2.org
  7. I have recently had to completely replace my home computer. Restores to new machine from CarbonIte appear to have gone well. When I try to make some changes to my website, I cannot save them, getting the attached error text. Any help as to how to proceed is most appreciated Thanks Unable to save IPS Content.zip

  9. I would like to be added as an interested party to this thread. kACARS is used by my virtual military group (as well as least 3 others I know of). SInce we regularly perform carrier operations, we cannot use this product to record our flights, due to the previously stated limitation which causes the "aircraft not stopped" message when attempting to end the flight, and submit the report. If there could be something tied to/similar to the Parking Brake ignore logic, that would allow us to use the product on moving carriers. Thanks
