[kAcars Error]

Do you have the correct kACARS module to match the client installed on the site? Usually that is the cause of that error.

I exactly dont know how it works, could you please elaborate a bit about "to match the client installed"

Hi,

I am a member of a virtual airline (not Seulawah Virtual) and I would like suggesting the management to implement the free kAcars instead FSAcars currently used by them.

When trying to fly using the kAcars I got the message as referred by many in this forum, ie:

Notify System Administrator of the Switch error.

Data not received

Switch = verify.

What can I do to correct this?

Got the same thing just several minutes ago. Seulawah Virtual was hacked! The good thing is, a friend of mine, Rob Bindels do keep a backup.

Is it possible that they crack a password from websites?

Ok, I am able to change the ID to 3 digits.

the problem is each time a new member apply he get still a 4 digit number.

Any advise how to resolve that problem.

It's in your local.config.php. If not, copy and paste the appropriate entry from your app.config.php.

As I am don't have any experience in this stuff please tell me where can I find those mentioned above?

Is it in the ftp of the VA?

Thank you.

It's now functioning. I be able to Login, Connect to FS and the Flight is found by kAcars. After I start the flight the Flight log immediately filled in and show some activities.

Here is the strange thing, as soon as the plane is airborne the Flight log went empty. No nothing in it, all the datas in the Pirep columns are also gone. After setting your brakes of the plane there is nothing (no pirep) to send.

Do this kind of problem ever being reported?

I get frustrated in using kAcars. I still get the wrong notification of application and module do not match.

I downloaded it for several times now but the problem is still there.

I tried to connect but failed several times now.

I tried to connect to IP 86.136.85.69.

When you refer to default port 23456, where can I see which port is available in my FSX?

Is it under Multiplayer/Network setting? If that is the place the figures in it is 6112 to 6122?

Do I need to change it?
