I need to set Xacars also up because I have someone who does his flying on a Mac to.

So I will follow this topic with interest :-)

I was able to get the issue solved within my VA. Are you still needing help?

  2. I've had a few XPlane/Mac users report that their PIREPS are not getting submitted. They don't receive any errors from XACARS in the log or user interface. XACARS says the PIREP was submitted successfully but it doesn't show up on their profile and they still appear under the "Current Flights" on the homepage. There are no errors in server logs, either.

Any idea what I should look for or how to fix this?

  3. I know you all are working extremely hard (and we're all very appreciative); is there any sort of update when we might see a public demo site and/or a release for the system? My VA and I are trying to figure out what system we might go for and I'm just trying to get as much info as I can.

    Thanks!

  4. Mischka, all of the sudden I'm not able to export the remaining 20,000 PIREPs or so. Every time I click on "Export to vaCentral", it just loads and loads. It never gives me an error or failed message either. Any idea why this might be?

I had it too when I exported the pireps from my own airline, and to be honest I'm not sure how I resolved it *blush*. But if 5% of your pireps cant be exported, itll be around 3000 of them so I'll have to find some solution :)

Lol, I'll let you know when I have a total and we'll see what we can come up with.

  6. I had 62,000+ PIREPs to send, so that's taking a while. I don't have an exact count, but I would estimate every 15-20th PIREP is failing. If I restart the sending process, they still fail, too.

    2) The site_url variable in your config file must be exactly the same as the one you specified in your control panel at virtualairlines.eu

This fixed it for me. Also, a majority of my PIREPs are exporting fine, but I still have a handful of them that fail when trying to send. Any ideas/recommendations?

Go in your local.config.php and under the VACentral, change true to false. That will stop showing the pireps needing to be sent on your admin side.

Thanks for this suggestion, but I would prefer to send our info to VirtualAirlines.EU if possible.

vacentral has been dead for a while.. but there's an alternative now, which is actually better:

Thanks for letting me know about this. I've made the changes to use this, but I keep getting an "authentication failed" error from the server when trying to send PIREPs. Ideas?

  10. Is there anywhere I can check the status of vaCentral? My VA has over 6,000 PIREPs waiting to be sent and I wanted to check if vaCentral was up and it's an actual error on my end or if vaCentral isn't up and running right now.

  11. The other day one of the pilots in my VA tried to download an item from our Fleet page which ended up resulting in an Error 404 (it was removed from the server) and prior to this we had no "real" Error 404 page. Since then, I have made a new error page within the templates folder and it displays when applicable now. However, whenever that page comes up, it shows the login box in the corner of the screen rather than the user ID of the pilot logged in. As soon you go to a different page, it shows that you're logged in properly. Is there something I need to do to make sure it shows if you're logged in or not? All I did was copy files from other pages and redo code as necessary for the Error 404 page. Thanks in advance for the help!
