How do i get my url to read sitename.org/index.php/*insert DIR or page here* instead of /phpvms/index.php

I tried moving all files from inside the phpvms to the root but that messed up the CSS.etc..

In your FTP, open the /phpvms/ directory, select everything and move it into your /public_html/ directory (main root folder). You'll need to update your local.config.php to account for the new site URL.
