We start the New Year off with a return to one of the most talked about and enjoyed fly-ins we have done thus far. The trip in to Ketchikan Alaska is by far the favorite of everyone, who has been around Canadian Xpress over the last 6½ years.

Ketchikan (PAKT) has no direct road access, nor does its airport. Passengers must take a 7 min ferry ride across the harbour to reach the airport. Along with its breath taking scenery, it’s every pilots dream to see. But don’t lose sight of what you’re doing, the terrain causes turbulence on arrival and departure, plus there are air taxis, and sea planes landing and taking off on the harbour, along with local bears and the odd moose that will wonder on to the runway as well.

Canadian Xpress would like to invite all pilots & virtual airlines to join us on Saturday, January 23rd at 10h00est (15h00z) and 21h00est (Sunday 02h00z) for our January 2016 fly-in where we fly from Juneau (PAJN) to Ketchikan (PAKT).

This is an open invitation to all pilots no matter what your flying experience to attend this Canadian Xpress sponsored event that will be flown on the VATSIM network.

More information regarding this event including operational details, charts, optional add-on scenery and Canadian Xpress Model Sets can be viewed by visiting www.CanadianXpress.ca or by directly downloading our Fly-In document here.

See you all on Saturday the 23rd!
