Anyone recommed a good video card?

Hey guys, I'm having problems with my ATI Radeon 2600HD, it's been messing up my FS. Every time i play FS, my video card dies and recovers it good.

It's bothering me for a while and I'm feel like i will break my video card in half .

So can anyone recommend me a good one for FS2004? and will never die again.

I'll will have to upgrade my power supply though but i'm looking for a 1000 WATT one.

Umm well I have a ATI 5970 from Sapphire

The card is a little loud at full fan RPM so if you want to you can install the Arctic Cooling 5970 heat-sink which is much better on temps and noise just you need to have 3 slots free so one for the card and 2 below the card.

Works really well, but it will bottleneck your system if your CPU cant keep up but will crank FPS out at great rates. It is also not the cheapest card.

Hey, thanks for that.

I'll have to save my money for a new power supply first and i'll have to remove the network card that i don't use.

But i need a 1000 WATT and i cant get one that has a fan on top casue my power supply is up top. But i'll open up my computer and take a look in the power supply unit.

I think it will be good. I'll get the both things, Vdieo Card and Fans casue i play alot of FS2004 and it could heat up the card.

I'm upgrading from Dell Inpisron 530.

Ok but why my video card dies when i am at CYYZ in FS2004, it does not do that at other airports?

Dang FS2004 CYYZ Sencery.

I downloaded a add-on for CYYz and it never messed up my video card. YaY! I can fly to CYYZ with my WestJet 737-700.

sounds like your good to go sometimes its the order of airports in the addon list that can crash when you go to the effected airport o and the 5970 is too big for that case dell uses.

Bad news, it's still doing it. I'll have to upgrade my system. I'm going to get the power supply, video card with the fan and a new core i7.
