KACARS and Live Map

Hi everyone! I just now started messing with KACARS and am curious why I do not show up on my live map on site? I see screenshots of others on their maps but for the life of me, I can not get mine to show. All other ACARS scripts that work with livemap work on my site. Done checked.

Did I miss something somewhere? ANd I notice it has a load button bottom left side.... Can anyone elaborate on that one for me please?

I am a little lost I guess.

How long have you waited to see if you are on the map? kACARS_Free only logs the liveupate every so often.

The load button is to change the aircraft that you are flying. You can use the aircraft attached to the schedule or you can change it to another aircraft from the VA's database.

Well, I was looking at my live map as soon as I connected then I waited for a while. It is no biggie really I guess. I was just thinking live map was kind of a standard. So if one pays for a paid script it keeps track the whole time?

It is nice to be able to look at the map and it says boarding, enroute, etc, etc. I love using FSFK but it does not like the live map at all and ACARS and XACARS suck arse real bad.

SO how long do I need to wait after loading up the flight to see it show up? And I am guessing the code is encrypted so we can not adjust the refresh rate? Just curious is all. KACARS is a great looking script. SO far I like it.

Sorry I have been out of town.

The free version should show up on your map. There is no need to pay for anything to get the free version to work. I would check the acarsdata table and make sure that you are getting usable data inserted when running. If not then let me know. But it should work and display just fine.

Right now the send live report is hard coded. I may modify this at a later date.
