MrAmsterdam Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Hi Guys, What about an addon that all pilots can use to link a landing that they made to a youtube video. Example: You have an awesome landing or a landing in bad weather or something like that. You create a video and upload it to youtube. Then you go to the website and attach the link to the pirep. There is a possibility to add the video link to the comment section of the pirep but you need more time to create a video. So the best would be to add the link later to the pirep or to a whole different "Video" section on the site. Regards Lucas Quote
Thomas Rozanov Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 You could try to make a LOT of Modifications to simpilot's screenshot center. And you could make it have video instead. That way your pilots can just upload the video on to your site instead of youtube. You would have to find a video player script and that would be your base. And then when people upload videos your database takes the link and links it basically just like simpilot's screenshot center. Good Luck! Quote
Administrators simpilot Posted March 1, 2011 Administrators Report Posted March 1, 2011 YouTube/Google has a very strong API for developers here -> http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/overview.html There are a number of ways to link your page to youtube accounts for both viewing and uploading.
