Center Navigation Menu

I running a stock crystal skin and want to center the navigation menu so it always stays central.

Ive tried margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto in a few places and got rid of any float: left; entries in the topnav sections but still it stays firmly to the left lol

Please help im almost bald

Above the core navigation entry try using <center> and after it use </center>
