Schedule Request Form

Hi Guys,

Im new to phpVMS and learning rapidly!!

What I would like to create is a schedule request form, that my pilots can use to request new schedules to be added.

When the form is submitted, the schedule will be inserted into the database, but with a "PENDING" sort of status.

The Admins will be emailed that there is a "PENDING" Schedule request. The admins will then reject or approve the schedule and it is then added to the VA's list.

The Pilot will then be emailed if the schedule has been approved or not.

has anyone done anything similar, or can someone point me in the right direction of where to start?

uh, something similar is the charter module from SimPilot.... That doesn't let you approve it though, i don't think, but it also costs money.

I'm planning to make a simlar module for Patriot as well. We have many requests come though the forums, email. ETC. We wanted a central area where we can have schedule requests in one place.

I'll make that module over the summer hopefully. Cheers!
