Custom fields on registration

Hello there,

I am currently working on the registration module on my site, and I am wondering if adding custom fields would be a good option for adding fields such as Date of Birth and Middle Name, and is there any possibility to add a custom field with a dropdown, that tells the administrator what version of Flight Sim a given applicant is using and such?

you can, in the admin and profile fields and add custom field and select field type to drop down and enter the values separated by using ,

Thank you. Is there any way of adding Date of Birth field by any chance? Custom fields option doesn't offer that much flexibility on that matter.

you would have to do some serious editing to the core files and database changes to accommodate it for you.

You would have to be careful in that process and know what you are doing.
