Install Issues

Hello all,

I'm having some trouble installing phpvms.

I purchased hosting through Go Daddy. I created a database, changed the top banner in the phpvms folder to my VA's logo (kept the same size banner of coarse).

I uploaded the phpvms file to the FTP using File Zilla. All the files transferred successfully using File Zilla.

I am receving this error:

An Error Was Encountered

phpVMS has not been installed yet! Goto install/install.php to start!

I go to my web browser and type in my va's domain.com/install/install.php

and then this comes up:

Warning: fopen(D:\Hosting\10633679\html\core//local.config.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in D:\Hosting\10633679\html\install\Installer.class.php on line 56

Welcome to the phpVMS installer! In order for phpVMS to work properly, you need to have a few prerequisites. Mainly, you must be running PHP 5. The installer has found a few problems with your install, which are highlighted below. PHP Version (5 required)

OK! (your version:5.3.6) Site Configuration File

Could not create core/local.config.php. Create this file, blank, with write permissions. Directories and Files:

core/pages is not writeable

core/cache is not writeable

core/logs is not writeable

lib/rss is not writeable

lib/avatars is not writeable

lib/signatures is not writeable

Once you correct these errors, refresh this page to start the installer.

I am not a very tech savvy person so any help would be great. Hope I provided enough information so someone could recommend a solution.

Thank you.

Bruce
