i had added to my pilot a profile field, (textaerea),

I want that this text area is visible in the public profile and profile main (his private profile) of the pilot but he can't (for now) modify it from his page (Modify profile).

At the moment i can't do it, but i remember (if i don't wrong) that in the past the profile fields became all visible in the profile public when you add it, it's correct?

This is how i add the field:

Field Type TEXT AREA

Default value NOTHING

Show in User Profile? YES

Show During Registration NO

How to do it?

Thats all you need to do. And its not 1 or 2 lines to add. You need to delete the content from the pages that came with the template. Make TPL files and constant testing to make sure everything works fine.
