  1. Same situation here for the same reasons. What we have done is take our VA to wordpress years ago and run "the guts" inside that framework, but with links outside to the ops side. We are presently also using VAM, which you have said is no longer supported. I've got PHPVMS installed and working through it. We have higher hopes that this is still being developed on. Nice job so far!!

Thanks for this thread. Will be following.

@Doug, cyberair!!!!! That was the first VA I ever flew for. :) Nice to see you still around!!!!

  2. I am having this SAME exact issue, had to use the bypass script above. Error we are seeing is this:

[15-Apr-2019 21:45:42 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Class 'ReCaptcha\ReCaptcha' not found in /home/midconmgmt/public_html/mca/core/modules/Registration/Registration.php on line 167

I have triple-checked and then copied the entire script from the github site for updating to ver2 of ReCaptha; still get a 500 error unless I use thge bypass above.

    Any other ideas?

  3. I tried to follow this fix, but it doesn't work, or more likely I am making the edits wrong. You talk about "then scroll down to the "VerifyData" section, but there is 2 sections I see for that and when I make the edits it breaks the reg pages.

Can you write this how-to more clearly please? Show exactly what and where?

I just went from 2.5 to 5.5.x and how i managed it to change it over in less than an hour was by putting the 5.5.x on a subdomain (where it remains) went through the install of it using my existing db user & password for the old database clicked install then when i was asked to en va name and all that info i stopped and exited so that it would then create the new tables for the new version but it wouldnt of course overwrite tables that already existed. Then go to installfolder/update.php so it will then update the information from the mysql database into the site. once you complete that then delete the install folder and youre done....

Now if you need to change your extensions on your skins from tpl to php do so then. Once complete your website will be updated to 5.5.x at that point you can delete the old files for the old site or keep them for safe keeping.

I was able to do this, thanks! :) now to check it all over and remove the "old" site. :)

  5. Im really losing grasp of where we stand with this? I am on 2.x and it's not 2.9. Then I see webpage for 3.0, and THEN still talk of 5.5. It's VERY fragmented with almost NO support that I can speak of. If I am at an older 2.x HOW do I update to the newer versions?

  6. Ok, I HAVE searched and cannot find the answer, sorry. :(

I have imported an SQL table, it worked and I can SEARCH for airports, but when I click on "add & edit airports" in the admin panel, the list does not display. I CAN search one at a time and that works, but I cannot get an entire list to display. All I get is an empty display. Any ideas please?
