It has been noted your name has been used while posting copyrighted material as your own on the page 'http://piasvirtual.org/' A detailed message has been posted at this page and emailed to you. Kindly reply back by email.

  2. Thats the attitude! Learn from your mistakes and think creatively. You should also take regular inputs from the experienced members on the forum. If you just ask, they will help you!
  3. Copied sir, no more discussion on this matter here, will continue it by PM.
  4. Mr. Barrett, Gmail automatically includes the complete email chain when you press 'Reply'. My messages are written once to you, I think there may be a formatting error due to the email service. I sent you 3 individual emails in the same chain, perhaps you're still being displayed the original email I sent you. By the way your replies to my emails also appear appended at the bottom of the message instead of at the top of it, so I think there is some sort of formatting error. Anyhow I have mailed you again in a new message, so please do enlighten me as to where you saw the website vpia.org copying material off of websites (plural) by PM or email. Roger that have emailed you and pm'd also. Will be waiting to hear from you. Sincerely, Ahmed Ahsen

Dear Lorathon, Thank you very much for your kind reply. Much appreciated
  6. By the way, the image you are seeing on the website: http://www.vpiasim.waleeddc.com/index.php/pilots is stolen from Airliners.net, it is copyrighted to 'Asuspine' who will be in touch with the owner of the aforementioned site shortly.
  7. Dear James, This is Ahmed Ahsen, Administrator Virtual PIA. I'd like to take the time to respond to your post about how VPIA is ripping off other websites. (plural) Before that, let me first start by introducing myself and the team behind the oldest, largest and best known Pakistani virtual airline around the world and then get to your reply. I myself am a lowly repainter, you can find my work on flightsim.com and a few other flight simulation websites. In the past some of my work has also been the victim of copyright infringements, so please bear with me - its an awful reality of our world of flight simulation, that people who dont respect copyrights and other people's work keep popping up every now and then. I have dealt with my fair share as well, and would request you to bear with me as I explain myself. Virtual PIA is Pakistan's first and only virtual airline certified as a partner by vatsim. We are now on our way to set up the Pakistan division on VATSIM. With over 200 members and 6 years in the field - the essence of our organization is at the same time, the development of flight simulator add-on's for Pakistan and Pakistani aviation - our work is fully freeware, and featured at over 15 flight simulation websites, including the world's largest, avsim.com and flightsim.com. Some of the bigger names in Flightsim who you may be familiar with who have worked with us on various projects include: Mr. Edward Cox (POSKY Master Texture Specialist) Mr. Hiroshi Igami (POSKY Programmer) Mr. Jonathon Sze (flightsim.com) Mr. Stephen Groom (flightsim.com) Mr. Abdullah Rahman (flightsim.com) Mr. Sabbir Khan (flightsim.com) Mr. Matthew Sheil (www.hyway.com.au/747/747.html) Mr. Chris Schnaedelbach (avsim) Mr. Jeff Bryner (flightsim.com) Mr. Phillip Dorn (flightsim.com) Mr. Kenneth Hui (VATSIM) Mr. William Woo (VATSIM ASIA Director) Mr. Deepan Mehta (VATSIM ASIA Director) Mr. Alexandros Zafiris (VFlight) Mr. Tim Capps (avsim reviewer) Mr. Gene Davis (avsim reviewer) Mr. Benjamin Van Soldt (avsim reviewer) Mr. Jason Mckee (avsim reviewer) Enigma Simulations (FS Sound) Project Airbus In addition our contributions and work have earned us numerous associations with well known virtual airlines such as Arabian VA, KLM VA, Cathay Virtual, Philippine Airlines Virtual, Virtual Turkish Airlines, Virtual Singapore Airlines, and Virtual Algerian Airlines. we are also associatied with esteemed organizations such as vatsim.com, flightsim.com, avsim.com, GreekSim flight magazine, VFRreviews.com and world famous simulation magazine PC Pilot. The hard work of our dedicated pilots had made Virtual PIA the first ever Pakistani va to have been fully recognized by VATSIM as a partner, in addition to being featured on PC Pilot and numerous other simulation venues. From airliners.net, we currently work with Konstantin Von Wedelstaedt, Irfan Caliskan, AirTeamImages, Jetpics, Omer Zekeria, Pawel Guraj, Nik French, Selzere Christophe, Ian Madigan, Damiano Gualdoni, Murtaza Sattar, Saad Asad Cheema, Florian Seibert, Akin Diler, John Ballantyne, Jorge Medina and Asuspine. In 2010, Virtual PIA, along with Air Child VA, UNICEF, VATSIM, VATIndia, VATPoland and MKRF held an online campaign that collected over $1000 in under 5 hours, which went to the cause of people suffering from devastating floods in Pakistan. We are no fraud, we have worked our a**es of to build our organization and to work for the community. The reason why I am mentioning all this is so that you can realise there are some 'foreigners' who arent actually sitting in caves and can do a damn well job when it comes to it. Coming to your response about plagiarism, The website of VPIA (www.vpia.org) has never in its six year history at any point of time ever violated anyone's copyrights, nor received notification of such. If you believe you have evidence (specifically of more than one copyright violations on vpia.org) , please refer it to me - if you dont, try for one second to appreciate what we are doing and dont shoot us down because of our names, nationality or religion. Recently, thru PHPVMS forums, we learnt of the copying of an entire theme copyright to Mr. James Barret on our partner website, www.vatpak.net That website was designed by an ex-member of ours, Mr. Waleed Dilawar. Claiming to be an expert in web design, he joined us to take over some of our lower priority projects, one of which is VATPAK. In a mattter of hours he produced the old template claiming it as his own, and in all honesty, I never bothered to check it which I should have - I apologize for that breach of copyrights once again. (and I already did previously in a full email explanation to your complaint ). If you still have an issue with any of our websites kindly mention it and I'll be happy to take care of it. I am currently taking full time flying lessons plus holding a job, so forgive me - I havent visited every page of my websites in the recent past, but I'd be happy to oblige in case there was any copyright issue, which to my knowledge there arent and havent ever been on the domain www.vpia.org. Now Waleed had been removed from our group earlier, because we found that he had been using photographs from airliners.net without permission on one of our websites. Since being removed, he has rapidly opened and shut a couple of dozen virtual airlines, due to being caught again and again on phpvms forums. We have no longer got anything to do with him. I should also add he copied several of our scripts on one of his free websites and copied our name when he opened his first virtual airline after being kicked out of our organisation. I hope that makes it clear to all visitors, readers and valued members of this forum.

    questionable logs

Guys thanks very much for your replies, appreciate it. I'd put his flying at say around 15 hours per day on average. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, my question is: when I start my flight with kacars it reverts to send log options. Suppose I land, park and then take another flight. Would kacars continue logging this new flight? And when I close it, or press the send log button would it send all logs within minutes of each other to the server? thanks.
  9. Hello there, First of all, I would like to thank kacars developer for his excellent software. You have really made an excellent tool for our virtual airlines, and people from all over the world, while may not be able to mention it here, do thank you daily for a great tool. I'd also like to thank all experienced members on the forum for their quick help in any situation faced by the users of kacars. Question to experienced members and respected developers: one of my recent va members logs have been suspicious. At first this guy used to fly one or two times a day. Over the past 2/3 weeks he has been sending me 8-10 logs per day, all within minutes of each other. For the first few days in all the logs, the origin, destination and flight time were same. Then, the origin and destination stayed same but the flight times changed. Over the next few days, now his logs have different origins, destinations and flight times. He is still sending 8 to 10 logs per day. When questioned he has maintained that 'once i land and park my first flight, i dont close kacars, rather i just start another new flight and yes i am actually flying 8 to 10 flights per day' Should I be suspending this pilot? Thank you in advance.
  10. Hello guys, sorry about starting this but the tutorials are offline....... how do I install a skin?
