  1. Hi,

    Another issue :D

    The automatic emails that get sent out to members seem to be causing me some grief,

    Whenever the emails are sent the dear (PILOT NAME) is blank, the name doesn't show, just like other bits of information

    Here is roughly what the email tpl files include:

    <center><div id="wrap">
    <div id="content"><div align="left">
     <h3><img src="http://www.futura-va.co.uk/images/LOGO.png" alt="" width="183" height="54" align="right" /></h3>

       <br />
     </p>
     <p>Dear <?php echo $firstname .' '. $lastname; ?>,<br/>
     </p>
     <p>We are delighted to inform you that your application has been successful. You are now a fully fledged Futura Virtual Pilot!</p>
     <p>Here is some help to get you on your way:</p>

  2. Hi All,

    Would like a skin designed for my new VA, Futura, here is what we are looking for

    - Custom Pilot Centre

    - Custom Public Pilot Profile

    - Integration with a few of Sim Pilots Addons

    Would like to see examples of work done previous and a rough quote for the job please

    Would like it done before the end of March

    Kind regards

    Connor

  3. Tom,

    Its not dodgy at all,

    The service at the moment is provided through the company Speedytech,

    Your are entitle to your own opinion but now as you have made it clear, it is no longer appriciated on the forum, we have discussed this on skype for the record of others.

    If Tom or anyone else has any comments or questions please visit - www.speedytech.org

  4. Tom,

    I think that you will find that due to the complexity of the services we provide it would be completely impossible for us to list the services we provide, for example we are licenced to build PC's & provide Microsoft support, we would not be able to list every product that we cover for Microsoft along aside web design, communications for companies, structuring businesses and so on,

    Linking phpVMS on our website would be great but we cannot just do it for phpVMS therefore we do not do it at all

    Another reason why we cannot do so is if you check our services page you will see we work on a quote basis to allow us to be more flexible, we do not have set products, the customers tell us what they want and we work around their needs

    As for the legal documentation, we work closely with real companies and for us not to be restricted is plain stupid, I have checked the documentation with regards to cookies and that issue has been forwarded to our legal representative for further scrutiny. For the licence to cover phpVMS is to be discussed further but not what we said in the previous post:

    May we note that we are an established company, offering services to phpVMS is an addition to our mainstream company simply because a hand-full of our employees have experience with phpVMS

    "In addition to our mainstream services", perhaps could of been worded a little better, we will be offering our services to phpVMS but perhaps on seperate grounds more personal than through our business

    Please try your most to understand Tom,

    Regards

    Speedytech

  6. Hi,

    I recently posted regarding a type of hacking. I was in fact wrong it was more like spamming but im sure you's can understand how stressful it was writing the post and cancelling dozens of spoiled registrations.

    I then decided to temporary close my website - Its been a few days now and we are still receiving information from the spammers such as chat logs which would suggest that they haven't stopped - or don't plan to any time soon

    I was wondering if there was a way just to close registration temporary - not just hiding the registration page as I am sure they will be able to mess about with the URL's, but actually to get rid of it for a while so the current users can still fly and so on.

    I was thinking, would it be worth while to remove the fields from the registration_mainform.tpl (backing them up of course), then entering a message regarding the issue?

    I don't want to do this at the moment until I get a response as I will end up ruining it

    I have banned some of their IP's there is just one or two I need to catch - but I have also heard that they have accessed the site via Dave Proxy and they continue spamming from their - I'll tell you - there are a bunch of sad people out their with the time available to spam as much as they did when we had re-captcha enabled

  7. Hi there, just experienced a type of hacking, i came on my cpanel and noticed 25 pending apps all with silly names, how do i stop this? is there anyway to get a script that will not add any pending pilots to the roster and so they dont use up IDS? now the next real pilot that signs up will have an ID starting at 64 ish

    sorry for brief messages, trying to sort this
