Administrators Nabeel Posted October 28, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 28, 2009 Empty your sessions table and clear your cookies, then try the login/logout
Moderators joeri Posted October 28, 2009 Moderators Report Posted October 28, 2009 no i can't loggin to the site it gives the error "You must be logged in to access this feature!"
James200410 Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I too have this problem, this is the 4th time its happened in 24 hours, back to another reinstall ..... Dunno whats foing wrong, everything was fine I came back to it after an hour or so, had to login again and lost the admin section completely! is there anyway I can access the admin section ?
Administrators Nabeel Posted October 28, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 28, 2009 no i can't loggin to the site it gives the error "You must be logged in to access this feature!" Did you run the install/update.php? There were additions to the sessions table
Moderators joeri Posted October 28, 2009 Moderators Report Posted October 28, 2009 yes did tha update look at your mail for req info
Administrators Nabeel Posted October 28, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 28, 2009 Try this (two options) Empty the sessions table and then re-run the install/update.php OR DROP (delete) the sessions table, then re-run the install/update.php The table has to be empty to apply the auto_increment and PRIMARY KEY instructions to it.
Moderators joeri Posted October 28, 2009 Moderators Report Posted October 28, 2009 ok its working now
James200410 Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I deleted, then droped the sessions table, cleared cache and cookies then install/updated and still no luck. Started from scratch once again ... lol Good practice I'm getting ;D
Administrators Nabeel Posted October 29, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 29, 2009 Might be an error in the installer. I have not tested the installer yet. Goto 1.2.700 (the release), then upgrade upto beta.
piper338 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Same problem reinstalling 1.2.700 now.
Administrators Nabeel Posted October 29, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 29, 2009 What problem is "same problem"?
piper338 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 site it gives the error "You must be logged in to access this feature!"
James200410 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Reinstalled v1.2.700, Im not brave enough to upgrade any more, its a shame cause I like the new features in the BETA versions :-
piper338 Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 site it gives the error "You must be logged in to access this feature!" OK I got it working again. Dropped the sessions table like you said an ran the update.php again. Thanks, Chad C.
Administrators Nabeel Posted October 29, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 29, 2009 site it gives the error "You must be logged in to access this feature!" In phpMyAdmin, can you do an export of the structure for the sessions table?
piper338 Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 I suppose I could, but it is working now.
Administrators Nabeel Posted October 30, 2009 Author Administrators Report Posted October 30, 2009 Ah ok, yes, the drop would fix the sessions table, that what I wanted to see. Sweet
