"No input file specified."

I've been trying to setup phpvms recently, which seemed to have succeeded now, however whenever i click any of the buttons on the home page, a blank page with the message "No input file specified" is shown.

I did come across this thread: http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/6940-no-input-file-specified/,

But i do not run Apache on my server, and removing .htaccess does not resolve the issue. Neither do i have access to php.ini, for strato seems to manage it themselves. I did try the suggestion of adding ? after index.php, for example http://www.swctools.com/phpvms/index.php?/acars and this does prevent the error from coming up, but instead just shows the homepage, as index.php does by default.

This effectively renders the site useless because all buttons show the homepage with this workaround, or error if the workaround is not applied.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

currently hosting it on http://www.swctools.com until i have a working site and will then pay for the wished domain name. Feel free to have a look around and see if you can diagnose the problem :)

The following are my webspace details:

Strato PowerWeb Advanced Package (€9,99/m)

3 Free domain names

60GB storage space

20 MySQL Databases

40GB Mailspace

10 FTP Accounts

Running PHP 5.6, can change between 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, and 7.0 with the click of a button.

(Also want to pass down; i've been having issues during install becuase of PHP 5.6, which had to do with $_FILES variable and a few static variables which could not be static. i've followed Kyle's instructions in the following thread to fix them:

http://forum.phpvms.net/topic/8920-sudden-problem/ )

Thanks in advance.
