Alex Posted April 18, 2010 Report Share Posted April 18, 2010 I have been getting complaints in relation to the filing of Pireps and in particular the flight duration box. We know that 5.3 = 5 1/2hrs or 5 hours 30 minutes. however some people have difficulty with this ???? is there a code snippet to include a box "hours" "minutes" in text format so that this issue can be resolved? Any help with coding would be appreciated, even if it's just to get the monkey off my back. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can add some text under it in the template to specifically say hours:minutes, or id you edit the template, just add a <input value="HOURS:MINUTE" onclick="this.value='';" /> Add the value= and onclick= to the existing text box Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Administrators Nabeel Posted April 19, 2010 Administrators Report Share Posted April 19, 2010 Replace this line: <input type="text" name="flighttime" value="<?php echo $_POST['flighttime'] ?>" /> With: <input type="text" name="flighttime" value="<?php echo ($_POST['flighttime'] == '') ? 'HOURS:MINUTE' : $_POST['flighttime'] ?>" onclick="this.value='';" /> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
