TAV1702 Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 That is pretty sweet. You all have a nice looking website too. Did you get an error when you tried to use the SDK? Quote
CrashGordon Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 What a great thing. I was just talking about something like this in addons. Now, I don't have to reinvent the wheel. Thanks for post ing this. I'm not getting any error with the SDK. Quote
TAV1702 Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 Yeah I did get the error, but a quick email with a reply back solved the problem. I am working on getting mine up and going now. Got one minor issue to resolve with the website first, then I am starting in on this one. Quote
CrashGordon Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 I hate to throw some cold water on this software, but there are problems. First the number of different aircraft ICAO codes it will accept is quite limited. I can't get it to accept all my aircraft. Second, there is no way to import youte data from phpVMS, which meansslow and arduous hand entry. Not good if you have a few huncred routes. I'm back to square one in trying to cobble together something that derives its data from phpVMS. Quote
MrAmsterdam Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Ahh.. too bad. Goof initiative though... Quote
TAV1702 Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Yeah I was wondering if I was going to have to manually insert all of my routes or not. That will be a long drawn out task to say the least. Quote
MrAmsterdam Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Isnt there a simple sql query so you can get the information that you need? And then just add a arrival board image? i am not an php/sql guru... i'm just throwing this out there... Regards Lucas Quote
CrashGordon Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 There probably is, but then you'd have to translate it into the configuration file format they require...and you still be limited in the size of your fleet. Quote
