UAVCEO
I was wondering if anyone could assist me in building a flight search form for the main page. http://web.archive.org/web/20011204175227/http://www.ata.com/ The example above from an old ATA site is good. Plain and simple. Has a drop down box for airports and everything. I would like the date/pax still there for eye candy. Any help would be appreciated! Leiserson
^ I attempted this once but ran into javascript errors due to the fact that the current search form mainly consists of AJAX components and its hard to work around unless your the original developer. But im sure there is always a solution! And hopefully i find it lol
Administrators Nabeel Posted March 16, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 Well, the ajax doesn't matter much. If you look at the form itself, you just need to post to the form action and itll still work with those form fields
UAVCEO
I've been working on it, but it won't dig up any info. http://vertexva.byethost15.com/

Administrators Nabeel Posted March 21, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 I've been working on it, but it won't dig up any info. http://vertexva.byethost15.com/ Point it to index.php
Wayne
Nice work guys, this will be sweet to see who can get it really defined and looking great, looked good on that test site if that is a test site
UAVCEO
Sorry Nabeel, I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean point the site link? http://vertexva.byethost15.com/index.php/ Or is this something to do with the form.
Administrators Nabeel Posted March 21, 2009 Administrators Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 Yeah that form action is to /action.php, change it to index.php
UAVCEO
That worked, now how do I get the airports to show up in the To/From boxes. (Or could would the form work if they filled in the ICAO in a text box?)
UAVCEO
Disregard the last post, only issue I am having now (not a huge deal) is when I search it displays all flights. It's okay if I can't fix that. (Maybe schedule results .tpl needs editing?) New Compressed (zipped) Folder.zip
Wayne
Im not to sure if you cant really just show one flight, unless if you show the detailed page....that would really be the only way to show it maybe in the "searched" area.
