FSUIPC error 12

When I hit the FS Connect button, I get an error that says:

FSUIPC Error #12: FSUIPC_ERR_SENDMSG. Error sending message to FSUIPC.

I run FSX with FSUIPC version 4.

The module and application do not match. Ensure that the module on the site matches the application version number.

The application version is on the top right corner of kACARS_FREE. The Module version is inside of the module.

I have already told you were you can find the version number. You could just start over and download the matching app and module from my site.

What do you mean by this? Im having the same issue

This mean that kACARS has to be running as an administrator in order to function correctly.

I suggest a couple things when using kACARS.

1.  DO NOT install in the Program Files directory.  I'd install somewhere like C:\kACARS.

2.  Go to the folder where you installed kACARS and then right-click on the kACARS.exe file.  Select Properties, then the Compatibility tab. Then select the check box in Run this program as an administrator.

I have to agree with Keith. If you avoid the program files you will avoid 95% if not all of the permissions issues with windows. All 3 of my flight simulators are installed ia folder with the respective name in the C:/ drive. NOT in program files.
