edmundk
Hello all, recently I have been looking in to adding several languages besides English in order to advertise to many groups of people. I saw the user selectable skins , it needed to add some code to the local.configuration, I am not sure what is needed for this and how to make it possible. Thanks, Edmund
Guest lorathon
Or just use google translator. That is what we use.
edmundk
Okay,so no other way possible? I can re-write all the text if needed.
Tom
simpilot had a skin switcher if I remember correctly... probably required some editing to core files so will need replacing on update. Don't remember if he released it though. Other than that, you can install multiple copies in different folders (i.e. site.com/en, site.com/de, site.com/es) and link them up to the same database... I think...

Tom
@tom.. So i can just connect the databases and it will workout? I believe so... I can't remember if the current skin name is stored in the database or not though, so in case it is, use the same skin name for all the languages and just edit the files.
