twelka3 Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Some storms pics from today (including radar shots of tonight in OK,TX) Quote
tutmeister Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Nice shots. Are you around here tonight? I've been out with the cell that panned across the Kansas/Oklahoma border north of Bartlesville earlier this evening. Some good power, but not much rotation. Quote
twelka3 Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 Yeah i was chasing out up in the KS/OK border also, Got to see one tornado today, got to go through the footage though and see what i got look at all the data. "Never stop chasing!" Quote
twelka3 Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 Will be chasing almost all week. Going to be a very busy week Quote
twelka3 Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Posted April 10, 2012 Well back in the state of ohio... Hope to be out chasing again soon. Quote
tutmeister Posted April 14, 2012 Report Posted April 14, 2012 Well if you're ever driving through Osage County, shoot me a PM. I've just been out again earlier, but it looks like the mean stuff won't be out until the middle of the night into tomorrow daytime around here. I can't stray too far as I have too many paying jobs here LOL! Quote
twelka3 Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Posted April 15, 2012 Will do! Sure wished I was out there last night terrific data was taken from chasers! Quote
flyalaska Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 We had some nice storms here in Northern California. First time I heard thunder out here in the 7 years I been here. Even hailed, so much that it looked like snow on the ground. 1 Quote
twelka3 Posted April 16, 2012 Author Report Posted April 16, 2012 That's awesome! Impressed that it happened in CA Quote
tutmeister Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Yeah, I saw the long-exposure image of the bay bridge with 9 lightning strikes to the top posted over on hacker news. Awesome! The season has definitely kicked off here, with so much damage around and unfortunately loss of life. The immense amount of rain and heat also ensure I spend a stupid amount of hours every week mowing my property, time that I'll never get back! Quote
