elferen1 Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 Hello, Is there a way in PHPVMS to show the route that a pilot has flown so far on the ACARS page like this: http://screenshooter.net/9948368/rwksmof Greets, Martijn Quote
mseiwald Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 I`m also looking for something like this since months. Haven`t found a way yet Quote
Moderators Kyle Posted April 11, 2012 Moderators Report Posted April 11, 2012 I developed a custom ACARS for Sun Country Virtual, it's still in Beta and I been working on this similar thing. You would need to make the ACARS send all of your current position reports to the web server and make the route flown drawn. It's likely you can do that with your kACARS, you would just need to create a new table, new class to instert the position such as Airspeed, Ground Speed, mostly important, lats and longs. Quote
mseiwald Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Hm as i'm still bad at this DB stuff and still learning all those coding things it would be really great if someone of you guys could make a code for me to get this live route thing for my map....preferable at a low price (null) Quote

It just adds a very nice touch the template. Quote
freshJet Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 I think this is offered in the custom kACARS Quote
mseiwald Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 no unfortunately not...i have asked jeff already but he told me it`s not possible yet but it might be sometimes in the future Quote
Scandi7 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Hi! Could this be something that can be used with phpVMS? http://openflights.org/faq Source code: http://openflights.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/openflights/openflights/ Looks great on Google Earth too. Quote
